Rachael Leigh Cook Is Selling Her Cozy West Hollywood Home

The actress’s home in Sunset Plaza is certainly “All That.”

You probably remember her as the adorkable Laney Boggs in the classic ’90s flick She’s All That, but actress Rachael Leigh Cook has been up to lots more lately than just collecting royalty checks. Cook, who just wrapped up three years on the TNT show Perception and, according to Variety, is set to star in a modern-day movie adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, is also an in-demand voice-over actress these days. And all of that hard work seems to be paying off! Now the actress is hoping to say goodbye to this four-bed, four-bath traditional-style home for sale in West Hollywood, CA, which she’s selling for $3.295 million (a nice bump from the $1.075 million she paid for it in 1999, back in her teen queen days).

Built in 1936, the gated home sits on a large, flat, private lot. Inside, an oversized living room with a fireplace and French doors leads out to the covered porch. Just off the entry, a unique den/study filled with character includes a quarter-round fireplace and half-brick hearth. Upstairs, three bedrooms have views of the city and treetops, as well as a large balcony. The attached guesthouse is a quaint space, perfect for an au pair or even as a separate office.

The property is well-suited for entertaining, with expansive, lush gardens, a spacious patio, and an oversized spa with plenty of room for a swimming pool. Cook probably entertains a lot — but mostly the toddler crowd — since she and husband Daniel Gillies have two young children. The actress also owns a home in Redondo Beach, CA, which she bought back in 2000 for $485,000. Could that be what she spent her Josie and the Pussycats paycheck on?
