Kid Rock Lists Zen Balinese Retreat in Malibu For $13.45 Million

Detroit-born bad boy musician Kid Rock is selling his zen, Balinese Malibu compound for $13.45 million!

According to The Real Estalker, Rock picked up the 1.54 acre property in October 2006 for $11.6 million. Located on Malibu’s idyllic Point Dume, Rock’s West Coast oasis is private and gated custom-designed home tucked discreetly at the end of an angled cul-de-sac with the quintessetial California fusion of seamless indoor/outdoor living.

The entryway consists of intricately carved doors that lead to an open floor plan. The home’s highlights include a formal living room that doubles as a screening room, an enormous chef’s kitchen and dining room combination, a luxurious master bedroom with two walk-in closets and huge spa-like master bathroom. The home also has four exquisitely designed bedrooms and baths, an exercise room, a family/TV room and a guest house overlooking the pool.

Rock (born Robert James Ritchie) won’t be homeless after this sale. His personal property portfolio includes a plethora of private residences. In January of 2012, Rock bought a 6,000 square foot waterfront mansion in Detroit. He later paid $3.2 million for an ocean front home Jupiter Inlet Colony, FL. He also owns a condo in Nashville, TN, and two adjoining estates northwest of Detroit.
