It’s Official: Idina Menzel and Aaron Lohr Moving In Together

The hush-hush couple make a serious commitment, buying an Encino, CA, home together.

Frozen songbird Idina Menzel has gone all in on a new home in Encino’s Royal Oaks neighborhood with actor Aaron Lohr, snapping up the five-bed, six-bath spread for $2.675 million. Located on a ¾-acre lot with lush landscaping and a prime cul-de-sac spot, the Mediterranean-style home is a picture-perfect place for the couple to launch a new life together.

Measuring 4,708 square feet, the house welcomes guests with carved Peruvian doors leading into the updated kitchen, which features a center island, granite counters, and top-of-the-line amenities. Built in 1959, the gorgeous home also boasts a spacious family room and dining room, as well as a living room with Brazilian cherrywood floors.

Upstairs in the master suite, a walk-in closet is so big, it could fit Menzel and possibly half of her Rent cast mates. The bathroom has a spacious shower, as well as a separate spa tub. The home is also a prime spot for entertaining: Sliding glass doors open to the backyard, which offers a covered patio, swimming pool, and grassy yard.

And with views overlooking the canyons and city lights of Los Angeles, this sounds like the perfect love nest. In 2014, Menzel said “Let It Go” to the Culver City, CA, home she shared with ex-husband Taye Diggs. The home, which the couple bought back in 2010 for $2.09 million, hit the market for $2.995 million.

While the new home may be in the sunshine-drenched San Fernando Valley, Menzel will be heading to chillier climates sometime soon, at least on screen: Word is that she’s set to resume her role as Elsa the ice queen in Frozen 2, the sequel to the hit Disney flick.
