Diane Keaton Purchases in Pacific Palisades for $5.6 Million

The always-smiling, Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton has recently closed on a beautiful piece of property in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades for $5.6 million. Since 1970, Keaton has made a lasting impression on audiences around the world from premiering in blockbuster classics like The Godfather and Annie Hall to tag-teaming with leading men Steve Martin and Jack Nicholson in Father of the Bride and Something’s Gotta Give. Keaton’s infamous smile and bright personality has dubbed her America’s sweetheart and has always been a delight to watch on screen in both dramatic and comedic films. Aside from acting, directing, producing and screenwriting, Keaton is also a self-proclaimed real estate developer flipping houses throughout California and selling to the likes of Madonna. With the recent purchase of this 2009-built Pacific Palisades home, it’s difficult to tell if she’s aiming to flip such a fairly new property this time around, although any house would shine a little bit brighter with even a dash of Diane Keaton love.

The spacious, three-level, 7,800 square foot home features six-bedrooms, nine-bathrooms and sits on a corner lot just one block from the neighborhood ocean bluffs giving the home a wonderful scenic view of the Pacific Ocean. With a very fresh, contemporary design throughout, the home exudes a Cape-cod influence with white interior finishes, various large windows and plenty of recessed ceiling lights allowing for a beautifully lit space. Dark hardwood lines the downstairs floor and staircase, while some carpeting and tile can be found in the upstairs bedrooms and baths. A large, open kitchen features stainless steel appliances and large gourmet kitchen island with seating. Special features include a master bedroom with large deck, a comfy movie theater, wine room and game room/gym room. The family room opens to a large outdoor yard which boasts an outdoor living room, grassy play area with swing set, and pool.
