"A lot of people have dogs in this neighborhood. As long as you have a collar and a leash on your dog, you won’t have any problems. You can also bring your dog to any of the local parks as long as you have them on a leash. "

"my neighborhood is gated and very safe. I love living here. Kids play outside everyday and a lot of people walk daily. it is a great place to live. I highly recommend my neighborhood."

"There is more foot traffic in our neighborhood than in other parts of Nederland. This is, in part, due to the busy business "districts" present on the section of Highway 365 on our south side border and then also on Nederland Ave on the north side of the neighborhood."

"Lived here for 1 year. Feel safe when I’m here alone. Haven’t had any problems so far. Neighbors are nice, not overly kind or in our business"

"We’ve been here more than four decades and own two small dogs ourselves. This is a very dog friendly area, with non-owners and owners whom get along quite well. It’s a great area to live, for the young and old alike."

"There are very limited sidewalks, so options are slim for walking the dog. Some restaurants are dog friendly, but not all."

"They would like being able to walk their dog down the street in a quiet neighborhood. They would not like the stray dogs and cats that are constantly irritating our fenced and inside pets. "

"There are no dog parks in Nederland. There are strict leash laws. Most neighborhoods are dog friendly. "
