"All the public schools are pretty close and have amazing staff. Most houses have big yards for kids to play in and Northside Park is nearby with a playground, a pool, and great hills for sledding! We also have a small library in the neighborhood. "

"I loved living in this neighborhood, it is a quiet area, with very pretty old homes. I would still be living here if I didn't marry a farmer and get whisked out to the country. I used to walk to the rose gardens all the time and walk through the neighborhoods looking at all the lovely homes. You won't find this kind of charm in the newer cookie-cutter neighborhoods. There are a couple gas stations right there and you are literally within 3 miles of the Childrens' Zoo, Glenbrook Mall, Kroger, several gas stations, IPFW, Parkview Hospital, Downtown Fort Wayne and all sorts of restaurants and stores. I used to attend IPFW and it was a 5 minute bike ride from my home. Perfect for IPFW/IvyTech students, and people who work at Parkview Hospital. It's an affordable, nice little area for people who want a quiet and pretty area but still need fast, easy access to everything from central to northeast Fort Wayne. I even worked at the Parkview on Doupont, and in the morning, I could get from my door to their parking lot in 15 minutes during normal traffic. I also would drive to the Jefferson Point area in 20 minutes during heavy traffic, so don't be discouraged if you have to get somewhere outside of this area quick, this location is just wonderful."

"I have a family of four with young children. Work in downtown Fort Wayne. It takes me approximately 5 minutes to get to work. Love the accessibility of Fort Wayne's best public park, Lakeside. Diversity in the neighborhood is a huge plus. Neighbor's truly look out for one another. Looking forward to living in this neighborhood for years to come!"
