It's a matter of perspective because there are so many factors which include price but I live in Uptown Whittier and I recommend zip codes 90602 or 90601 but even then I think the better search would be specific cross streets which I would more than be glad to describe them to you based on you particular needs.

If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate in contacting me directly.

Hi Frustrated,

I certainly understand your concerns. I would recommend that you contact the local Police Department. They will be able to bring you up to speed on what type of calls and activity if any, have taken place in the neighborhood. Also, have you driven through the neighborhood at diffent times during the day? I always recommend for my clients to drive through a neighborhood once in the morning, afternoon, and evening, to get a feel for the neighborhood. You can also walk through the neighborhood and introduce yourself to some of the neighbors as a prospective buyer and ask them what their thoughts are with regards to the neighborhood. Good luck!

The only time a bank will rent out the property is if it is in rent control or the tenant is already there with a rental agreement. I wish they would allow us to rent out the properties, that way we would know the property is safe and will not be broken in to.
