You have a good Realtor representing you.
You have a good Inspector who found the problem.
You have access to plumbers and contractor; all of whom can visit the property and view the carnage:
Why are you ask us; who cannot see what you are talking about?

It sounds like a plumbing leak; is that what you want to hear?
Do you want to walk away from the deal because of a leak?

Jim Simms answered:
Probably not, nothing is absolute. The mortgage she signed said she was going to live in the house for at least one year. If she moves out and rents it before the year is up she technically is not living up to her promise to FHA, but as long as she makes the payments on time I doubt anyone will kick up a fuss.

I'd suggest you find a real estate attorney in your area to answer your questions--before you close. Unfortunately, I don't know any in that area.

Hi Diana,
There are many reasons why with no specific answers. However, if people will price their homes
aggressively and de-clutter and spruce them up then the liklihood of selling is much greater.

Hi Kim,
Your home will need maximum exposure on the internet to sell...and if it is tucked away from main roads then having signs is required for the local population to find out about it but you must pay attention to city/county/town ordinances because there are fines if you place signs in areas not allowed.
best of luck
