The Daily Press online offers a great property transfer database that you can search. It's map based but if you scroll down, there's a form box labeled "Search past records". You can then search by zip code and approximate sold dates. This will pull up data in a list format. Normally, one can use the Department of Professional Regulation website to lookup any association, which is what I do as a Realtor. But when I searched for this association, I didn't receive an address or a phone number, and the URL didn't work either. See DPOR website:

Try calling ir emailing the DPOR and ask them for the mailing address or phone number they might have on file. (804) 367-8583 or

Hello Deb. I don't know of any rating system for real estate agents in Bedford County/Lynchburg,VA area. What you can do is call real estate office and ask the broker himself who are his top producers in the office. Of course,top producers in the office shows that they are very competent and knowledgeable in real estate which is a good thing. However,some top producers are so swamped with clients and work that they might not have time for you. So make sure you ask you want a real estate agent who is very accessible. If you looking for real estate agents in Bedford County/Lynchburg,VA, I will be more than happy to refer you to some real estate agents and you let you decide who you want to work with.
