Since very little, as far as new homes, are being built out in the Santa Clarita Valley right now, it could put downward pressure on the supply of homes for sale if all of the new jobs created make local homebuyers out of those employees. Downward pressure on the supply of homes from the new demand, could push home prices higher hypothetically. At the very least, it can create multiple offer situations. We'll see what happens. It appears on the surface to be a win win for the Santa Clarita Valley.
