Are you still closing on the 31st ? Why is there no mortgage commitment ? Sounds like your agent or the buyers lender has dropped the ball.

I have confidence in the pre-approval once the property closes. Until then, it's just another piece of paper that's needed to present an offer.

Happy New Year!
What I recommend is that you list your condo for sale with a real estate professional that promotes their listings here on Trulia. It's really that easy and I would be happy to list your condo. ... more

Kevin & Monica McNamara answered:
If a property has been listed with a real estate agent and it was withdrawn by the seller, the seller can choose to re-list the property with a different REALTOR at anytime there after. There is no prescribed period that the property must remain off of the market.

The difference would be if the home was listed by an agent, then withdrawn by the seller, and a buyer that had been shown the property during the time of the listing agreement wished to then purchase that property, there is probably verbiage in the listing agreement that states, for some designated period of time, the previous listing agent would be owed a commission.

I hope this helps. My best for the Holidays.
