A local agent should be able to find this out for you. I would call around and see who gets you the answers you are looking for.

Nobody has as crystal ball...but in my own personal opinion, a new school is typically a good thing for property values. But then also depends on where this school is going to be...what else is going to be added around the school (parking lots, track, football stadium) in relation to the house in question. If the house currently overlooks beautiful openspace but when the school goes in, it's going to be a huge student parking lot....then that would be a bad thing. ... more

Rental Market in Rehoboth Beach has been Great this summer so far !
If you rent for the summer months only as a rule the funds are all due prior to check in. Most ALL summer rentals go from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
If you rent a property Year Round your rent is normally paid on a monthly basis.
There are many off-season events in our area - Lewes, Dewey and Rehoboth that you would miss if you are just here for the summer. You can check out classifieds and get an idea of rental homes available. I do not do rentals anymore (did for 12 years). I only handle listing and selling of homes now at RE/MAX. Let me know if I may assist you further ! Good Luck! It's a gorgeous sunny 80 degree day today !

Just because the bank has them or even owns them now does not mean they have them listed for sale. Until they do list them and until they find there way here to Trulia you can't find anything on them. Sine Trulia does not get listings from the MLS systems, they must wait until agents post them or until they run an add in the homes magazines where Trulia does obtain listings. ... more

I have confidence in the pre-approval once the property closes. Until then, it's just another piece of paper that's needed to present an offer.

I am quite familiar with this development, I actually just sold some clients of mine a home there. I am happy to speak to you more about it. There are many questions that come into play when deciding which community is best suited for you. Things like is this a full time residence or a vacation home? Is the social aspect important? Budget and time frame? Red Mill Pond like some others in Lewes, is a lifestyle, so it depends on what you are looking for? If you would like to discuss this and other options, I am happy to assist in any way that I can. Please call me at 302-383-5412 ... more

Hi Phillip,

Very astute observation. It is a great time to buy, mortgage interest rates are below 5% and abundant inventory of homes for sale in all price ranges. This week a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath town-home in the Bethany area was listed for $129,000 and is under contract.
