As we all know all areas/neighborhoods are subject to violence and criminal issues. I'm not aware of any gang activity in the Delaware Water Gap area. This is one of the smallest, oldest communities. If in doubt, this would be the reason for doing a Title Search with a Title Company.
No one would know this off the top of their head.

The schools here are good. There are several school districts in the area, I hear Stroudsburg is great and hear no bad things about it, my children go to Pocono Mountain swiftwater Campus and they all do great in school. There are great music and sports programs in all ther area schools and even with the budget cuts the schools have not lacked where the children need it it most. Education Rocks, and we are investing in our future. The kids will do well as long as they have good oparents to guide them.

If it was foreclosed it was NOT because of a fire. A foreclosure occurs only if the loan repayment is not being paid on time or the owner defaults on payments. That is the only reason a bank forecloses on a property. Maybe the owner stopped making payments after the fire, but the foreclosure is due to not making payments. Dear Frances,

Depending on the time your traveling, Rush hour can add up to an 45 minutes on to your commute. I would say it would take you 1 1/2 hours without traffic. Best way to gauge the time is to stay at a local hotel near Stroudsburg for a few days during the week and go to your office when you would normally travel to get a feel for the commute. My husband actually commutes to Englewood Cliffs, NJ everyday and although it's 90 miles from our home he's happy with a 1 1/2 hour drive although it can vary. Hope this helps.

My family lives living here. As far as gymnastics goes we have nation wife known international gymnastics camp & school.
As far as persuing music..., there are plenty of laces for that including my husband who is a elementary music teacher graduated from William Patterson. Del water gap is famous for having the best jazz performers in the country living in the area & all preform at a little place called the deer head. Fencing I have no idea. Sorry about that. I can help you. There are lenders that can do FHA Loans with 600. They are uncommon to get closed, very tough. Call me and I will help you get financing with a good lender. If he can't do it he will help you get somethings off your history to increase your score. You need someone good that won't steer you wrong.

I start with a search on Wikipedia. Search towns that you think you want near (use mapquest maps to look around). Wikipedia gives you information about the town/city you searched. At that, I would contact a REALTOR that works in the area you are looking. Find and agent you like and work with him or her exclusively to help you. There are many highlights of living here,If you like skiing there is CamelBack, Shawne and Alpine Mountain along with JackFrost,. Lots of trout fishing streams, the Delaware River all the State Forest and National Recreation areas. During the summer there are great water parks, CamelBeach is my favorite. According to Google Maps, the drive (town to town) is 77 miles which takes about 1.5 hours one way. Add time in wintry weather. This may seem like a lot but many go even further each workday, to New York CIty and back. I feel the beauty of the Pocono Mountains area is well worth any extra driving. With all the other commuters in the Stroudsburg area, I believe they must also feel that way. I love it here and I hope you will, too!

Let me first say that it is not unusual for a buyer to withdraw from a short sale that has gone on too long. How this would be accomplished totally depends on how your original contract was written. Depending on the standards for your state, there is generally a place in the contract that stipulates whether you can or cannot enter into other contracts while that contract is in force. It would also depend on how the original contract was written in terms of time frames for response from the current mortgage holder (if specified at all) as well as your closing date. Again, it is not unusual for a buyer to withdraw from a short sale that has gone on too long but you will want to make sure that you do not do anything that will breach your contract, especially if earnest money is on the table. Requesting a termination and release on the original contract can be a straightforward process which would just cancel out the original contract.

Or are you wishing to keep that contract in place while you try for this other property? This could put you into a risky situation if you get acceptance on both.

I suggest that you contact the agent that wrote up the original contract on the short sale to go over your options as each case is very specific, dependent on how the contract was written.

As a PA Realtor, I can prepare a comparable market analysis for you, if you�39;re considering listing your home for sale. The analysis would determine the best list price, however, not the home's value. An appraisal would estimate your home's value.
