Autumn Glen in Stephens City, VA is NOT age restricted, although residents are primarily 'mature' adults.

Regarding shopping, it is very close to CVS, gas station, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, and other small shops on the corner of Warrior Drive and Tasker Road. I consider it 'almost' within walking distance although sidewalks haven't been installed between the development and the shopping area.

It is within walking distance of Sherando Park and the wonderful walking trails included there.
