I can't believe the realtor didn't put a date that is so wrong and sneaky... I'm sorry to hear that, just to be on the safe side I would call the realtor and ask for a realease form from his services, there is no date and you don't want to sell the house 4 months from now and have him/her serving you lawsuit papers just because you didn't get a release from the contract. I hope I was helpful and wish you the Best! Jeannette Batsikas ... more

There are so many neighborhoods in Staten Island that give you that Country feeling but living in NYC. I would suggest that you live close by the train being that you don't drive and the train can take you about 10 minutes to the ferry which you can get on and take to the city from there. Neighborhoods that are great check out New Dorp;Oakwood Heights;Bay Terrace, Great Kills;Annadale;huguenot;eltingville; If you want to stay closer in try Grasmere very nice neighborhood as well. Before you move I suggest traveling from the ferry to the trains and spending a few hours in each neighborhood, see what feels good. Also if you don't want to be by the trains you also have the express bus but for now this is a good start. Wish you the Best, in your next chapter!!!! Jeannette Batsikas ... more

Laura Feghali answered:
Hello Fchun24,
The first step you should perform is getting your credit cleaned up and improved. If there are any mistakes on your credit report then contact those institutions to have them removed.

Also, I suggest that you contact a few mortgage lenders or brokers to determine what they have to say about your credit and how you can further improve it so that you can purchase a home sooner rather than later.

Good luck to you!

There are different types and sizes of houses on Fr. Capodanno Blvd. Also, the condition of the house has to be taken into account when determining the price. The house that you mentioned sold for $150,000 was a bungalow which needed a total renovation of the interior. Currently, there are four houses on the market on this street ranging in price from $279,000 to $509,900. ... more
