Hi Terry,

That's a tough one to answer! Experience shows that it depends on your perspective and exact location. The Tehachapi area is comprised of mountains and valleys.

There are wind farms on some of the ridges so obviously, those would be windy areas.

But not all of the area is considered windy and certainly not windy all the time.

Hope this helps. If not, give me a better idea of what windy area means to you and I'll be happy to try again. If it's easier, feel free to call me at 661.375.7325 to discuss it.

No one person can guide another as to whether a location feels 'safe.' Everyone judges that differently. I, as a middle aged woman, have different sensitivities than a young strapping Marine does.

The best site i know for these types of things is http://www.crimemapping.com/.

It will provide you with objective information about any given location you choose.

Best of luck.

Hi Sally,

I believe they should contact their lender/mortgage company and explain the situation. It is much easier for the borrowers if they make that contact without delay.

I believe their existing lender is in the best position to assist them with the problem.

Best regards,
Elva

Hi Jake,

The market in Stallion Springs has been slow at this time with only 30 homes sold in the last 6 months. It appears the average price sold per sqft is $111. I'm not sure of the sitution you are in or the home you are looking at but every sitution can be unique. If you would like more help feel free to give me a call or shoot over an email.

Good luck on your new home!
