Alan Openshaw answered:
I am not a Realtor so I am not going to comment on the rtoperties. However, sellers are trying to get the most amount of money for their home. Many of them know very little aboout the market. As a mortgage broker I can tell you that 90% of people will overvalue their house. The fact that someone has dropped the price on their home in a few months could mean that they just overpriced the property.

There are many online sites that we advertise our client's properties on; some get more exposure than others. The best bet for you is to engage the service of a Realtor who is Technical Savvy and is up to the most current technology on marketing properties.

They will also be able to include your listing in Realtor.com, the specific Realtor site where all agents and consumers look for properties. Realtor.com also automatically feeds into many other sites!

Best,
Sylvia
