It's been reported. Thanks. It's not a matter of the site being hacked - it's simply someone posting a fraudulent post.

Off the top of my head, I think a 2/1 around there should be going for between $1800 and $2k a month. A little more or a little less, depending on the homes condition.

Star, other than looking on Craigslist, find a real estate agent or property management company to help you.

Odd but works fine for me on Win 7 + Chrome. Try IE and Firefox and see if you're having the same results. Chances are you have pop-up blockers that is not allowing a new window to appear. Good luck! ... more

Janie and John Barman answered:
Hi Kristin,

Craigslist is by far the best resource you can use for rentals. If you are looking for a high end rental, then the MLS might offer some options not on the MLS, but for the vast majority of rentals, Craigslist is it. Right now, the MLS has 6 rentals listed ranging in price from $1675/month to $9800/month - for all bedroom counts.

That being said, there are some tricks to make your search easier. Once you have done your San Carlos specific search on Craigslist, you can copy the URL for that search and save it as one of your tabs in Internet Explorer or Google Chrome (or other browsers, no doubt), and whenever you bring up a new browser window, you will see the latest Craigslist listings.

Hope this helps,

John Barman
