Heather, not at the moment.. Some Sunset areas were well overpriced by investors. So, while prices in SF on average are going up, it is not the case in Sunset, at least at the moment. I am sure that Trulia folks have statistics somewhere to back it up and/or other professional will post them. Dear Aimee, Now is the time to make friends with a local real estate professional that will be knowledgable about additions such as this! It sounds like a wonderful idea, but around my area would be impractical.

I always advise people to forge a relationship with an agent long before they need one. That way questions about paint colors, landscaping and remodels are a snap. Most agents would rather talk to you now then later when you need to sell and might be in a difficult situation.
