seek the advice of a credit repair professional. That's what I would do. You might have to pay them a fee but if it helps get that monkey off your back it's worth it. Hope this helps.

Sorry to tell you this but you're going to have a hard time. As a previous property manager I can tell you that evictions and housing debts are automatic denials for most apartment complexes. Have you tried going thru a credit counseling agency to help get your credit back on track? ... more

You will have to take care of the eviction first. You could try calling the credit agency that is holding your debt and try to negotiate an amount to pay or negotiate monthly payments.

Hello Brooke

Mid March is coming up quick. Most landlords like March 1 or April 1.

Rents for 2 bedrooms start in that price point. Rents go up from there.

Brst of luck

Hello Hilda,

No rent-to-own that I specifically know of in 27614, but given today's rates and sales prices, purchase is often less expensive and a better financial decision. Although everyone's situation is different, the right lender and the right loan product can often work for borrowers who didn't think they were ready or able to buy. Let me know, and I am happy to put you in touch with a lender that can possibly help. ... more

In my recent experience with homeowners renting out their homes yes they are willing to accept pets on a case by case basis. Some will take cats others no-way. Some will restrict the size of the dog in their property. In my locale of Pennsylvania, the house rental market is Hot. Singles, and townhomes usually are rented within 30 days of listing.

That is why I believe most of the homeowners are pet friendly these days, as many families have pets that will be living with them. Moving them or having a relative care for them are usually not options.

Good luck, be flexible. Especially in this market.
