The Bank who has taken possession of the property has to honor your lease that is in effect until the end of the lease date. They will hire an Assest Management company or Broker to manage the property and collect the rent until the said lease has reached its end date. They may contact you and also offer you what is typically called "cash for key's" to evacuate the property sooner, but you do as a renter with an enforceable lease have the right to stay into the property. ... more

This house is in the heart of Landenberg so you are close to White Clay Creek State Park. You are about 10 -15 minutes from the Jennersville shopping area with a Giant, CVS, Starbucks, etc....and about 10 minutes from Avondale shopping center with ACME and Lowes. As for malls, the closest one is Christiana. I live locally and do most of my business in the Southern Chester County area. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

You should contact your local USDA Rural Development office directly about that. It does not sound right to me. Be sure to ask if repayment ability is the real issue, rather than not having recent credit. If the USDA loan won't go through, ask your agent if there are other options. ... more

Hello,

Are you interested in touring the property? Also, depending on your finances there may be a loan for you that will enable you to do property restoration. If that's not your option or route to take, there are vendors with whom you can connect for an estimate.

Send me an email with your contact information and I would be happy to assist you further.

Thank you,

Abigail Manero

This property has been listed three times without selling. The public records still show the former owners, not the bank who owns it now. Many times foreclosures (REOs) are administered by asset managment companies who coordinate listings with real estate agencies, so the agents do not even deal directly with the banks, and banks will rarely deal with private individuals as purchasers. Likely this will either be relisted or will be put on an auction site. The last listing expired on 3/22/13, so keep watching. Hope this information is helpful. ... more
