It will be quite difficult to find a rental where credit check is not required. Florida's Landlord and tenant laws mostly favor the tenants and landlords have to follow specific procedure to evict a non-paying tenant. So landlords would rather play it safe than sorry. Your best bet would be to approach the homeowners themselves and present your case. May be with strong references from your previous landlords coupled with a healthy financial income, the homeowner would waive the credit check requirement. Good luck with your search! ... more

I am a Realtor & Property Manager in Kissimee, also serving the Orlando area. In most cases, you will need to show an income of 3 times the rent. For example, if you are looking at a rental range of $600 per month, your income should be $1800.00 per month. If I can assist you futher, please contact me.

Although your credit rating probably won't prevent you from finding a place to rent, it probably will affect the number of options you have for rentals.

Paul Antonelli answered:
In that area you are looking at around $1000 per month. That's why it did not rent the first time. Plus the agent gave you no advertising. If you can rent it for at least 3 years then come back and see how the market is then. It may be better for you. Unless at $1000 it is still costing you $$$. Then you should get the advice from your accountant and see how they tell you to proceed.
As you know, our area got hit hard by the market. In this area we lost between 40% & 50% at least. And some places like yours got hit worst than others. Let me know if you have any questions or need any other help.

4625 is actively listed in the mls for 105,000 asking price. This is a better time to sell a home with this price range to 1st time home buyers who are shopping now so they can use their tax credit.
Did you think of selling it? If you want a REALTOR to rent or sell it for you, please e-mail me and we can get started on it for you. The benefits would be more exposure and prequalification of buyers/renters.
