Sandy that is illegal, contact the state of FL real estate commission and file a complaint at once. You should also contact the managing broker where the agent worked, that broker is still responsible for this deal as it was done under him. If no one helps contact a lawyer . teh state should bring about a quick result though. good luck working things out ... more

You can get a free copy of your report once a year from: http://annualcreditreport.com
This will give you a copy of the report only and not your scores. To get your scores you need to pay for them, but I strongly suggest that if you are in the market for a home, you visit a loan officer and have them run it. Only then will you get the actual scores that will be used for mortgage qualification. ... more

Kissimmee/Poinciana, St. Cloud, Davenport, or Clermont are great places to purchase investement property especially if you are intending to rent the home(s) out long term (7 months +) I've been doing Real Estate & Property Management for over 4 years and live in Davenport for over 8 years witnessing the demad for rentals increase. There are still a lot of good buys on the market, Bank owned & regular resales. Let me know how much you are looking to spend and I'll send you homes that are ideal for renting long term. Also budget repair/maintenance funds, often good buys do have a couple cosmetic things needed done. ... more

Good morning Mr2112,

There is no doubt that the best area for your requirements is in Kissimmee, near Disney or near Downtown Disney, where there are a number of communities where short rentals are allowed and where the management will rent them out for you.
I will be delighted to assist you.

Hi Jeremy,

Both Windermere and Winter Garden have good schools. Windermere I understand is a 5 star school district.
With your budget you should be able to get a good property in either of those two areas.
In order to find out about safety you should look at the crime statistics in both areas. They can be found on the internet.
I would be delighted to help you in any additional way I can.

Suzanne MacDowell answered:
If the agent is representing you, and not the seller, then their loyalty is completely with you. If they are representing both you AND the seller, then ask them to recommend 3 good inspectors, interview all three, and pick one. Home inspectors in New Jersey are licensed and there is no way they will risk their license to help a realtor keep a deal together. Truth is, realtors work with home inspectors every day. They know the good ones and the bad ones. I personally use a particular inspector whenever possible because he does a thorough job but is not an 'alarmist' he explains everything but so calmly and reasonably.

It is absolutely appropriate to ask your agent for their recommendation. In fact, it is a good idea and a valuable service they can provide.

Irene Green-Marshall answered:
Hi Imsherini,

There are a lot of great places to live in the Orlando area, and the ones you mentioned certainly meet the criteria for good, safe, family oriented neighborhoods, and all with great schools. One sticks out in particular, though, because you mentioned your daughter's interest in the fine arts. Although she is not of high school age yet, when she's ready, she might be a great fit for Dr. Phillips High School. It has a fine arts program designed for students with interests in theater, music and dance. (Since the program is a "magnet", you can reside anywhere in the county and still be able to apply). Along with all of the other criteria you mentioned, are you also considering how convenient the location of your new home will be to your workplace(s)?

I would love to help find the perfect home for your family, and would like to talk to you personally in order to get more detailed information in order to develop a search based solely on your wants and needs. If we work together, we're bound to find just what you and your family are looking for!

If you would like me to provide you with more detailed information about the areas you mentioned, or other Orlando area locations, as well as information to help you with relocation, please contact me at:
