Public records are available at your local municipality. Give them a call and they will get you started in the right direction.

Try looking in the 32801 zip code (downtown Orlando) and in Thorton Park, these are young and trendy places to live as well. Dr. Phillips has young professionals as well,

When you move here rent on a 6/9 month lease to get the lay of the land so to speak, and you will find "your " crow where you are comfortable, to expend your social wings and have a great time.

Welcome to O town....

Hi sherrylatimore,

Thanks for turning to TRULIA for your real estate questions. I’m sorry that none of my fellow agents have bothered to reply to your question. The fact is, this may be a difficult task, for little to no pay. If you were a cash buyer, or a high end renter, agents would be fighting to work with you.
However, I believe in treating everyone equally, and will do what I can to help you.
Please feel free to contact me directly carlrealtycenter@aol.com and I’ll be glad to send you listings for properties that are CURRENTLY for rent that are hopefully in the areas you desire. I am a retired Law Enforcement Officer here in Orlando, and I can do my best to tell you what areas I feel are “safe”. (Would I live there, or allow a friend or family member to live there?)

Regards,

Carl Head

Depending on your price range, about anywhere in Winter Park or Baldwin Park would be fine. Lots of daycare around at reasonable prices and A rated schools consistently near the best in florida and the country. Entirely suburban neighborhood without the HOA's. Like taking a step back into the 50's and 60's. This doesn't exist in much of America any more. ... more

downtown orlando. you get less bang for your buck but downtown is as close to the big city feel as you'll get. And when you get with an agent, make sure that they are familiar with the downtown market, otherwise, you could miss out on properties or not be properly informed. My office is right on Lake Eola next to the Publix so needless to say, I know the area well. Let me know if you need any help =) ... more
