You might try contacting the local newspaper to see if they can provide you with any archived photos. Sometimes dozens of photos are taken of a subject, but only one is used in the paper. You could also try contacting various groups who may have had functions at the park, or swim teams who used the pool. The Chamber of Commerce might have something...or the library. I'm chirping in because no one else has. In my area our boys had to be 5 by the end of the season for little league. I managed a T-Ball team and the 4 & 5 year olds on the team had fun, but didn't understand much of what was going on.
You may find private clubs offering gymnastics, karate or other sports oriented activities. Check out the local Boys & Girls clubs too.... more
If its a nice park & within (very short) walking distance it can be an asset. If it's a busy park across the street, it can be a nuisance to some, a benefit to others. If itâ€™s a dangerous park well, you get the idea. If you want a dollar value on a park near by you're spending too much time thinking about it. Donâ€™t make yourself crazy, spend time on the homes best features and who would most benefit or appreciate them.... more
There are bike trails in Columbus, when people say "the bike trail" they often mean the trail that runs along the Olentangy River from north of Worthington to downtown, past the OSU campus, I think it is officially the Scioto-Olentangy Bikeway
There's also Alum Creek Bikeway, Springfield Branch rail-trail, Ohio to Erie Trail and more...... more
