PG,

There are currently 18 Oak Park rentals on the multiple listing service that meet your criteria. They range in price from $1600 to $3200 per month. I have included a link to the properties below:

I would be happy to arrange showings for any of these properties that interest you.

Currently there are several single family homes in Oak Park for rent ranging from $2000 to $3000 per month. None of the listings mention whether or not they will take section 8, but if you have a voucher that will cover that rent, we could always ask the landlord. I have included hyperlinks below to the available homes. If something looks interesting to you, I can check with the owner to see if they'll accept your voucher.

Aanderson32,

I would be a privilege to help you find an apartment. Many people who have less than perfect credit and/or bankruptcies are able able to rent. Many landlords are willing to work with people in these situations, if they have stable jobs and and can afford the rent.

Contact me at 708.697.5947 or at robert.perlin@bairdwarner.com to continue this discussion, or to get more info.

This spring we have been very successful with placing tenants in good buildings.
There are a very limited number of 3BR units - especially in smaller properties in Oak Park.

We look forward to help you with your search!

Yes. There are lots of free websites (Craigs List) that will find you renters. Ask you prospective tenants to run there own credit report on www.freecredit.com or any similar site. Have an application for them to fill out that will give you work history. Most important, before choosing them as a tenant, ask to see 12 months of previous rent checks. This will show you how they pay their rent! ... more

Short answer: yes. The owner can charge whatever he wants and offer whatever commission he agrees to with his listing agent. But this would only work if the property is listed as exclusive agency rather than exclusive right to lease. Otherwise, what would be the point? ... more
