Call a good leasing agent. Its free to use their services. Search for leasing agents in Oak Lawn. If you dont want to do that, try craigslist.

That listing is currently under contract right now. Trulia can be a poor site for updated listings.

Hi Kimberly. It's Marta. We can do a search for you to find homes available for rent that meet your criteria. Have to ask you a few questions to find out greater detail about your requirements and we make some appointment to view some properties. Please feel free to call either my husband Rich (708) 997-3441 or myself, Marta (312) 402-4568. To begin with, we can cover everything via telephone. Afterward, we can set up a meeting to take care of necessary documentation. ... more

Its tough to get info from an HOA for auctions. They usually dont want to release this info, because of security reasons. They dont legally have to do so. This is just part of the risk of doing auctions. ... more

All rentals can usually have an option to buy. Most people selling will usually not do a rental or they would list for rent. So often not an option.

Buying, of course, is less expensive. But there are rentals out there. Let me know if you would like a list of properties to rent. This one is no longer available.

Unfortunately, it is not only Oak Lawn. In many areas, the majority of rentals do not accept pets. Condos are even more because of the rules of the building. Yes, they are aware, but it is the condo board and rules that would need to be changed. Sometimes that can happen, but not with rentals. And even condos that allow pets do usually have size and count restrictions.

If you find a building that is pet friendly and not the landlord, there are sometimes ways to offer additional rent for the pet or an additional deposit to get a yes.

It is difficult though. Rental is very competitive. Pets are considered a liability for many landlords, so you need to tip the scales in your favor. If you are better risk than other potential renters, that helps.

Hi! It's Marta Januchta from Re/Max 10. Actually, the MLS listing for this property states that pets are allowed, but there is a pet count limitation and a pet weight limitation. The rules and regulations are determined and enforced by the Home Owner Association. Specific exclusions are determined by the HOA and/or the management company who maintains the building. If you would like some GREAT assistance, I would be glad to answer all your questions and help you find a condo that meets all your requirements. Please feel free to contact me.
