If you are asking where you can locate a notary public, You can generally find a notary public at town hall. Many real estate agencies also have a notary public on staff.

If you are asking if one is needed to buy property, deeds are usually notarized. A title agent or title attorney also conducts a title search and the closing on behalf of the buyer. That is, you will need more than a notary public to buy.

I was not entirely sure of the question so please let me know if you have further questions.

Why focus just on Norwegians? You might want to market to a broader segment of people who'd like a home in Thailand. And do you mean people who are living in Norway. That's OK, though very narrow. If you mean people of Norwegian descent living in the United States, don't do that. Don't limit your target group to one ethnicity or country of origin.

I'm guessing the property in Thailand would be a second home, a resort-type home. If so--beginning with Norwegians living in Norway--do market research on how Norwegians select places they want to vacation or live. Find out the demographics of those most likely to buy a property halfway around the world. Then target your marketing and advertising to them.

Hope that helps.

Hello Tara- Good to be having you up in Maine. First of all- Hello Snow! Big difference from Florida :)
In that area, the snow won't melt until the end of April... I own a building nearby there.

Not a heck of a lot to do in greater Norway- depends on what your kids like to do, etc. The town is pretty rural of course.
If they like the outdoors there are plenty of woods, and fishing and swimming and such nearby. Skiing for sure in the winter.
You're about 45-60 minutes from Auburn and Lewiston- the closest "city" per se.

Hope that helps a little. If you need any help looking for a place or a mortgage, please let me know. Thanks and good luck,

Ken L.
