Read the buyer's/renter's agreement with the agent.

The answer--contained for certain in the agreement--is "probably yes."

You say there was never an executed lease. OK. So? Read the signed agreement to see what the proposed tenant agreed to.

The question isn't (here) whether there was a "deal" in the form of a lease. The question is whether there was a "deal" in the form of an agreement where the real estate agent was owed money if he/she performed certain services.

All four of our Middle Schools are outstanding! However, I do understand that not every school is a good match for every student.

A great place to look at what makes each school great is www.greatschools.org as well as taking a look at the school profiles on http://profiles.doe.mass.edu/mcas/performance_level.aspx?linkid=32&orgcode=02070000&orgtypecode=5&&dropDownOrgCode=2

Our Middle Schools are Bigelow, Brown, Day and Oak Hill ... let me know if I can be of any more assistance. I do work for renters.

Ruchi,
There are many nice towns here that would be convenient and have great schools. Newton is the most obvious one, but also Needham and Lexington have some rental inventory. Please email if you'd like to chat.

Hello Pillai,
In order to post a property for lease on the Trulia site you must be registered as a landlord, property manager, or real estate agent. Currently, you are registered as a "Renter" so you will need to change your status.

Once you are properly registered then you can click on the "Rent" tab at the top of the screen. A drop down menu will appear with a tab that says "Free List a Property". Here you can post your rental listing for lease.

If you need any assistance you can contact a Trulia moderator at: 888-466-3501 M-F from 7am-4pm PST.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!
