There has been a steady increase in the number of investors that are purchasing mid to upper level homes and then looking for good renters to live in them. We are also seeing a few home owners who are willing to rent with the option to buy in the Newton, Kansas area. These are not too plentiful, since many sellers need to sell in order to move on with their lives, but we have been successful in getting some of these set up. We also keep a list of current homes for rent in the Harvey County area. Many local landlords call in their homes with specifics. These lists can be picked up for free at the RE/MAX Associates front desk any weekday between 8:30 AM and 5 PM and on Saturday

Honestly Newton is a great place to live with a low crime rate and excellent updated schools. There are several great neighborhoods to live in. Just send me a quick email and I tell me some criteria that you have for a home ie # of bedrooms, # of baths, garage, basement, price range etc. and I can send you a list of all of the homes that fit into your criteria. Very simple and easy to do. You can look thru the listings at your convenience and if you spot a couple that you want to see we can set up an appointment to take a look at your convenience.
