Hello Ketilt,
You will need to contact both the credit bureau and the tax assessor's office to have it removed so that your credit score will improve.

This depends on more than just your credit score. I work with a lender that can do loans down to a 500 fico, but there has to be compensating factors. Have you been 30-days late with any liabilities on your credit report within the last year? If so, this will disqualify you for the financing. How much do you have for a down payment?

Good luck!
