The Long Island Rail Road has a station in Locust Valley. There is also an express bus that runs from the neighboring town of Glen Cove. Glen Cove has also broken ground on a new ferry terminal which will also run to NYC in the future. As a lifelong resident of the area, I would be pleased to answer any additional transportation or local area questions you might have. Please feel free to contact me.

Generally truck traffic is limited to local delivery on Bayview Avenue. Satisfy your curiosity by visiting the area different times of the day or evening on weekdays and weekends. Judge for yourself what level of street transportation you would be comfortable with.

It is a wonderful neighborhood and you wil appreciate all Manhasset has to offer.
