Hi Tate,
Check the local Loudoun Times Mirror or Fauquier Democrat under classifieds. They have a section for Rooms for rent. Also, check the boards at the Tack Box, Tri-County Feeds, and Southern States for flyers. And you can put up a flyer about yourself with you phone number too in those same places. Also, look at Virginia's website and I believe you can post things there. The last place might be Craigslist.

Many times people list their homes based on what they need or expect to get out of it based on the wrong set of facts. Some agents will take a listing at any price and let time and market conditions find the real value. That wastes everyones time and energy. In some cases, the seller misses the oppurtunity to sell their home, by being priced over the market and prices fall while they are trying to sell at the wrong price or the season changes and the number of potential buyers decreases. Correct pricing is difficult and important. Often times a professional appraiser will use the wrong comparables and come up with the wrong number. They tend to be more like engineers (fact oriented) and realtors are more line architects (sensitive to location, style, setting, more subjective issues). ... more

If you are a for sale by owner the post is not allowed, you can however try blogging about the property; if and when you do list with an agent, he/she can post it for you, ask; or consider any flat fee realty company that feeds into the site. ... more
