Wow! You have so many to choose from. As a resident what I love most about Miami is that many of the places you go have indoor/outdoor activities for families w/ children.

You have a wide range from the beautiful beaches and nature preserve in Key Biscayne to the African Safari and waterpark in West Palm Beach which is approximately 45 min - 1 hour outside of Miami.

Give me a call. I'll be happy to tell you about specific ones I frequent w/ my children.

Miami's social scene is hip, hot and happening and offers something for everyone 24/7. If the ultra-glam, celebrity, music-infused outing is on the agenda then put South Beach on your map. If bistros, galleries and cappuccino's are what you crave, then stroll along the Biscayne Blvd. corridor, the newly named Design District or downtown Coral Gables. But Miami isn't just about the hedonistic life.culture and history can be found all around this diverse city as well. The Miami City Ballet, the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts, the Miami Art Museum and the Historical Museum of South Florida are all notable outings. There are also many attractions to visit such as The Miami Seaquarium, the Miami Metro Zoo, Parrot Jungle Island, and the Everglades National Park. Not to be missed is Art Basel, the world's biggest annual art fair, the Calle Ocho street festival, the Dade County Fair and Exposition and the numerous city art festivals which draw thousands of spectators each. ... more
