I would contact a financial institution and have them tell you what your scores are and than you can start with the credit repair process. By this I mean consult a professional that can guide you on how you can repair your credit. It usually takes 6 months to a year if you really have bad credit to repair but these professionals can really guide you. If you do not want to wait for your credit to bounce back a strong co-signer can get you qualify but not everybody will stick out their neck on this type of big purchase. You really are going to have to wait until the bank releases it. I would suggest to contact a local Realtor to assist you with this so when it becomes available you can be notified or maybe she can speak directly with the lender.
