You are a potential Seller I assume or are you interested in buying in that subdivision?
You have too many question to attempt this on your own in my opinion. I strongly suggest to you to
connect with a local Realtor in your area, as that Realtor will know your local market and after
a discussion with you whether you are selling or buying will be able to answer ALL your questions and
provide you with all the information necessary for you to make a well educated decision.....

The professional expertise and experience of a Realtor will be helpful in so many ways you can not even
foresee right now. If you need a good recommendation get back to me I gladly send one your way.

Good Luck to you

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for your inquiry.

Inventory is extremely low in all of Cape Elizabeth, not just waterfront. As of today, there are only 4 oceanfront homes, ranging in price from almost $1.3 M to $5.2 M.

Please feel free to email me at Jennifer.DeSena@NEMoves.com, and I forward the listing information for these homes to you.

Please let me know if you would like any additional information or have any other questions.

Thanks again, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

As a Buyer if you want to do the home search or rental search a successful one, without making any mistakes or overlooking anything, including whether dogs are allowed, I am assuming that you are
looking at condos or townhouses with a home association and therefore rules.... If you could connect with one trusted Realtor, your one stop real estate resource center, all you need to do is commit to
one Agent and be 100 % loyal so that that Realtor also can be fully committed to you, buyers agents are usually paid by the sellers side at the closing table if the property is listed with a brokerage and is on the multiple listing service of the area....

Be careful do not do this on your own.
If you need recommendations get back to us here, we gladly send you good recommendations.

Hi Rachel,

Thanks for you query into homes in Maine, and in particular, Falmouth.

There are a number of homes currently for sale with a minimum of 5 acres, and priced below $1,000,000 in Falmouth. Unfotunately, this forum does not allow me to send a link to the listing information for these homes.

I also know a few Brits who live in the Greater Portland area, and I am sure they would be happy to talk with you.

If you would like the listing information sent to you, have any additional questions, or would like more information, feel free to email me at Jennifer.DeSena@NEMoves.com.

Thanks again, and good luck!

Jennifer

Hi,
Orland is a small country town of about 2200. Depending on where in Orland you are, either Bucksport or Ellsworth are the closest larger town. When I lived in Orland, I was 20 minutes from Bangor and 20 minutes from Ellsworth. So, it's pretty central. I have attached below a link to the town's website. Let me know if you have any other questions or if there is a particular property you're interested in knowing about.

Charlene Hamiwka answered:
I did a scan of realtytrac and although they show a property that appears to be waterfront as an REO, it is not listed in the Multiple listing service. Banks don't sell the property themselves - they list it with an agency.

If you are looking for a waterfront home in the boothbay area, you should get in touch with an agent and get a search set up. If something waterfront does come up as a bank owned property it will not be on the market very long - so the faster you get notified the better.

In general though, the waterfront property is not the property being foreclosed on - at least not in this area. Let me know if you have any other questions.. happy to help.
