Typically you can call or visit the records department of the nearest police department and obtain the crime statistics for the zip code or neighborhood that you have in mind. You should also be able to go online and find the department of highway patrol's website for the Sex Offender Registry. As a former police officer, I understand the importance of buying a home in a community in which you feel safe. That said, I would still take precautionary measures such as always keeping windows and doors locked, trimming shrubs so they don't afford criminals a hiding spot, and keep a light on in the front and back yards at night. Crime can happen anywhere and you want to take all the measures that you can to reduce the odds of becoming a victim. Last but not least, please guard your personal information very carefully and avoid posting such on social networking sites. Well, both are pretty much used to refer to a licensed real estate agent. In New Mexico, they also are referred to as Qualifying Broker and Associate Broker. An Associate Broker works under a Qualifying Broker. A Qualifing Broker is often the owner of a real estate brokerage/franchise.

I had a listing similar to your question in Bosque Farms. I could not locate a traditional lender for that property type. I had potential buyers who tried and had the same result. The reason given to me was that the home was built before 1978 and was not on a permanent foundation. It didn't matter that the property and home were both in picture perfect condition. After 1978 there should be traditional loans available but the lender may require the home on a permanent foundation. Two questions to ask the seller first because a lender will want to know those answers before they even get started. ... more
