Yes, unfortunately the Condo Associations in Florida have near god like powers. Courts rule in their favor almost always and as long as they do not violate Fair Housing laws they can refuse to accept renters that do not meet their criteria. The street view isn't accurate because there is no street address for the mapping program to "pin" it to. It is in the right ballpark, though. The house is on Hillsdale. Not sure why the listing is being cagey about the address. Perhaps the current owner does not want the world to know the house is on the market. Problem with that, of course, is that the world will not know. It is in the MLS, though. It is not a short sale. Just dropped the price a few days ago.
It is not so much about hard as it is about timing. A few units that did not appear to have been updated sold last year. There is one unit currently available that is described as updated. If you have your sights on something specific, your best bet is to find one Realtor who can prepare you to move quickly, such as by setting up a search to alert you any time a property that matches your needs is listed on the MLS. As the inventory has dwindled, the good ones go quickly, so being prepared is very important.
The 33770 zip code is a large zip code so it would really depend on where the property is located in that zip code. However typically in Pinellas County you are usually only minutes away from the beach if traveling by car. It would help if you could give me the address. There are 3 homes with pools built in 1964 on the market in zip code 33770. To determine an average price we need to specify the number of bedrooms and square footage. To determine market value we need even more information specifically the condition of the interior and what type of garage there is. Donâ€™t waste your money trying to circumvent the mortgage guidelines that are in place to protect you. Rent to own is not ownership. Make sure to run the contract past the loan officer you are going to work with in the future before you put up any money. Mortgage underwriting guidelines are very specific on how to treat a lease option and they typically do not match what the buyer expects.
