I would really love to answer this question, However keep in mind it based more on opinion than anything else, or shoudl I say preference. No one area is just "safer." Realistically crime can happen anywhere. But I can tell you that location does matter, and keep in mind the schools that are recognized and have a "higher" education committment. you can contact the killeen police department and direct your question to them for a more specific answer. I would suggest driving at night to your desired neighborhood and look for any weird activity.
