If a BK is bankruptcy, it depends on the landlord. The landlord could choose to go with someone else.

It depends what the lease states. If they made a mistake and signed the lease they should have to abide by it unless say it was supposed to be $1000 month and they added a decimal point at $10.00 then if you fought it, a judge would rule against you as there was no meeting of the minds agreeing on $10 a month. If they are looking to just oncrease your rent, then it should state what they can or cant do. if they made a mistake, you signed, they didnt and know they want you to sign a correct one, do the right thing and sign the right one. good luck working things out ... more
