Asheli,

I'm not sure what you are asking about this home, but Perry Township is a nice area to live in. I'd be happy to help you out with any of your real estate needs. If you're looking for homes, download my free mobile app and you can use it to bring up homes around where you are looking. Just text HL6 to 87778 and you'll have the app on your phone. The greatest thing is that it can be used out on the street while your looking around at houses. It's so easy and convenient and takes home shopping a whole new experience.

It is one thing to ask if there is crime;
It is quite another thing to ask us WHY?

Realtors cannot comment on crime, in either case;
Just like Religion and Race, if we commented, positively or negatively, it could be called "Steering" and a Realtor could be sanctioned for it.

Use your GOOGLE and research the crime yourself..

You could contact the HOA or the IMPD to check into crime stats in the area. You could review this web site as well: http://indianapolis.citysearch.com/profile/3969531/indianapolis_in/west_glen_village.html.

Good luck!

That's not typically something that a seller is required to disclose or anything so it's really hard if not impossible to know. Sorry! Perhaps try a google search?

We really cannot categorize neighborhoods as safe or 'drive by' type neighborhoods. But we can tell you that there is tons of info online for crime reports, and that type of info. The best piece of advice I would say is to take a drive through some areas you are interested in, watch for the surrounding areas and if you start noticing suspicious things just move on. You can always call the local police dept too for that kind of info. Sorry to have to beat around the bush...it's too bad people have to even ask a question like this, and other people tie our hands so we cant say anything:) best of luck! ... more

Who is "They"? Your question lacks enough details for one to know what you are trying to determine. I can only guess you are wanting crime statistics for a certain area. Right? Most Realtors do not keep any kind of on going data for any certain area. That is not typically our area of expertise, although, I can recommend you contact your local law officals or ones for the area you have a concern and then ask them. Another good source is www.911indy.com which allows you to search by area of town or distance from a particular address in Marion county. I am not sure for sources in different counties but I am sure you can google it and find a site for different counties as well. Hope this helps.
