I find the best way to meet your neighbors is to walk the neighborhood. Or perhaps you can organize a block party or community BBQ.

Please understand that the maps for house locations come from outside sources, such as google, yahoo, etc. The agent doesn't have any control over which side of the road the house shows up on line.

If you want more details use a GPS and it does a pretty good job. Also, if you are familiar with the area, streets are usually divided with even numbers on one side and odd on the other. You could probably figure it out by using that system.

However, if you can find an agent to list it right away, they may be able to find a cash buyer who can handle the repair.

If you'd like a referral to a Certified Distressed Property Expert (c), please let me know. I'm one and the certification ensures that they now how to best handle your situation.

Some of my buyers have spoken to the neighbors to get their insights. Hope this is helpful- work with an experienced real estate broker and she should able to help with any questions or concerns. I assume that you need this for court or estate tax reasons. You really need to retain a licensed appraiser to prepare this for you.
