To get a direct answer to your question I would call one of the larger foundation companies in the area and ask them. But to be honest lets say you purchase a home in a low risk area you could still end up with a problem. The best thing to do is:
- Get a foundation report for any home you plan to purchase, many of the comanies real estate agents deal with will do an inspection for free.
- Make sure any repairs done include an engineer followup of repairs and a warranty.
- And most importantly follow proper maintance of your foundation to avoid or minimize any future problems.
