Currently, there are 17 rental listings in Millburn/Shprt Hills, ranging from 1200 for a 1 BR/1bth apartment to $19,500 for a grand 7 bedroom in the heart of old Short Hills.
There are some 3 BR/2bth homes in the 3300 - 4800 range.

Rentals in Millburn and Short Hills are always desirable, as people want to move to town due to the great school system and the Mid Town Direct train to the city.
Many transferees like the idea of renting for a year to give them time to settle in, and get a sense of the neighborhoods before buying.

I have a rental property that I have rented out pretty much every year for the past few years, and it always rents out very quickly - the current tenant's lease is up Aug. 31, so I expect I will be listing the home again in June. That home is a 5 br/3.5 bath, and currently rented at $6000.

What is your price range?
New listings come out all the time, and are usually listed 60 days prior to the end of the current leases.

I'd be happy to let you know when something that fits your needs comes along. Often they rent out quickly, so it is good to have someone keeping an eye out for you.
What is your desired move in date?

Let me know if I can be of help.........
Best wishes

Well, unfortunately, you don't see direct bus routes to Jersey City because there aren't any.

Your only option, as far as I can determine, is to take the NJ Transit bus #71 to Newark Penn Station and catch another bus to Jersey City.

Most people would drive to Jersey City, along route 280, as public transportation isn't readily available.

Check out the NJTransit.com website for information on the commute using bus #71.

Best wishes...........

Dear "Gaelle, Outside US", Contact a licensed realtor in Montclair or surrounding area, one who handles rentals, and you will receive professional service. A realtor listed rental carries a commission fee of one month rent, usually paid by the tenant but not always, and the security deposit can be 1 to 1.5 months rent held until lease is concluded, and the one month rent in advance. Sometimes utilities are extra. But at 650, if available, a small apartment might have heat included. You should contact someone, (973 632-8593 immediately as rentals go quickly. cwitzig@verizon.net. ... more

It all depends on your budget. Areas that comes to mind would be Maplewood, Millburn, Union,
Livingston, West Orange, just to name a few. It all depends on budget and the type of rental you
prefer- condo, townhome, single family home, etc. and how far of a commute you are willing to accept.

I'm an active Realtor in both NJ and GA, so if you may need assistance in GA as well, then let me know how I can best you with your relocation needs.
