It all depends on what you are looking for. If you want easily rentable, I would sugget being next to a college area like Rutgers in New Brunswick. Other towns in the area that are popular for multi-family residences include Edison, South Amboy, Woodbridge, and Perth Amboy. Now minus Edison, the other three are not in the highest desirable areas when it comes to fine living but in areas with a high concentration of multi-family dwellings, this tends to be the case. Other options that are in nicer sections of Central NJ but not in horrible areas would include, North Brunswick, Old Bridge, Piscataway, Sayreville, Franklin, and a few others. If you want I can send you a list of what is currently available and you can see exactly what works from you, I would just need to know your criteria as far as budget, location, and timeframe. Millpoint condos have appeal because they are one of the lowest purchase points to get into Edison, which is a desirable destination for many buyers. The location is convenient to the NJ Turnpike, Route 287, Route 1, and the Garden State Parkway by way of Woodbridge Ave. (514). As far as crime stats, you're better off checking with the local police department or searching online.

From my understanding Angies list is a list of contractors independently reviewed by people who used them and recommend them as thorough and reliable.
Depending on what renovations you want to do the work can be expensive so your statement of "heavy cost" may be unfounded.
My suggestion is to ask some neighbors or friends who they used.
Please also remember that many interior home renovations also require permits and must meet town building code requirements which is one service your contractor will provide.

It truly depends on the actual community and area. While 3 bedrooms commonly may be more desireable, if the 2 bedroom is in a desirable community then it may rent out just as fast as a 3 bedroom.

Keep in mind when investing in condo/thome communities, you will want to check the HOA's ( homeowners association) guidelines about renting the units because they may have rental restrictions or caps that may limit your chances of renting out the unit. Or if their rental cap has been met then you may have to put on a waiting list to rent your unit which you can see will interfere with how soon you start seeing a return on your investment.

Find a Realtor that will guide you in the process and help you find sound investments.

Although they can be a sign of foundation settlement, vertical cracks in a foundation wall are not necessarily a sign of serious structural damage in your home. Vertical cracks are often caused by the shrinking of concrete as it cures; if the edges of a small crack feel even as you run your fingers along the sides, this is likely the reason why. However, it's always a good idea to have a professional look at the problem, so you can be sure that the problem is not major before it gets much worse.

Are you working with a buyer's agent that knows North Edison? If so, your agent should be able to give you an opinion on the market value for these properties. If you do not have an agent, I would be happy to discuss Woodbrook duplexes with you. I also do not believe that either of those properties are currently on the market.

UNIT 1304/MANAGEMENT OFFICE
• All authorized cars MUST have a current 2011 decal by January 31, 2011
• To receive a New Decal the old decal must be returned.
• No decals will be issued by word of mouth.
• Owners of cars that have been issued warnings will be fined a $100.00 a
day until the correct 2011 decal is placed in the car window.
• A $25.00 fee will be imposed monthly on any car with more than one (1)
decal after being warned.
• All cars without 2011 decals will be towed from the Glen.
• All fines will be assessed to their accounts by Midlantic
• All cars without the 2011 sticker after January 31, 2011 will be towed
from the Glen. ( See Management in 1304 with any questions)
• Anyone found to be sharing a parking decal, taken from one car and
placed on unauthorized car will be fined $100.00 a month until the
problem is abated. The car with the unauthorized decal will be towed.
• All Parking Rules must be followed in The Glen, and will be enforced.
