You might check the microfische at your local Library for the Newspaper articles.
The Librarian might be a good source too.

The main question is does the home also have a mortgage? If so, the BANK is the one that would make the final decision on selling your home, and if you can't pay off the mortgage as well, then you won't be able to sell the home just for the taxes due.

If you would like to find out what your home could sell for, then you should speak with a local real estate agent who can do a market analysis on your home and tell you what it could potentially sell for.

If you are really trying to sell your home for under $2000 and you don't have a mortgage, call me. I may buy it off of you. =)

You should be asking local property managers, real estate brokers AND checking local Craigslist for comparable rents!
