The POA fees are $80/month ($81.50 if paid monthly). There also is a $20/month fire district assessment.
Diamondhead recently became incorporated at a city, and part of the sales hype for that was that the POA would lower the dues once the incorporation went through. Personally, I will be amazed if the POA lowers the monthly fees. Instead, we will now have city taxes added on. And given the way power goes to people's heads, I expect to see those start to climb quickly.

This uses only SOLD properties which are the only valid evidence of the Worth of a Comparative Home.
You need to talk to a lender. I do not know any that would, in good faith, tell you to walk away from your mortgage, however...contact me (link below) and I will send you someone that may be able to answer your questions better.
The simplest answer to your question, is that if you currently qualify for both mortgages, you should be able to get the second one. Unfortunately, there are a lot of other variabls that would come into play that you probably do not want to share openly.... more
John you should never base your offer on a straight percentage off of the asking price, you do not know if that asking price is market value, or alraeady priced below or way above market value. You need to assess what the condo is worth in todays market and base your offer on that A buyer broker can easily complete this for you. if you are buying alone, you will need to look up what has sold in this complex in the last 6 months and what is currently for sale for comparason.
