Leigh ~ Denver is a very athletic city. In fact yesterday 2000 people ran down Colfax the longest street in America! To practice for the race, runners use city streets and designated recreation trails located throughout the city. The Highline Canal and Cherry Creek trail are a couple good examples of both concrete and dirt surface...the choice is yours! ... more

Denver has tons of great mountain biking. The only drawback is that it's pretty much all a drive from downtown.
