Realtors can not provide you with any kind of that kind of info, so yes use the internet sites to get the stats, and once you have narrowed down on a neighborhood or properties, by all means visit the
local police dept and village hall and try to get some additional information.
Good luck to you

Dear Arnold,

There are gated communities of every size and shape in Delray Beach and the surrounding communities. From $15,000 condominiums in Kings Pointe to privately gated oceanfront estates in excess of $15,000,000 and everything in between there is a gated lifestyle for those who prefer living in a secured environment. So much really depends on your lifestyle and the requirements of you and your family. Do you want a 24 hour manned gate or is an unmanned but gated entry acceptable? Are you looking for a single family home, town home or condominium? The list goes on.

The best thing you can do in today's active market is clearly define your housing objectives and determine what areas will meet your needs. Inventory levels are very low and finding homes is a much more difficult task than it was a few months ago. If you would like to further discuss your particular situation and put together a game plan to meet your goals please feel free to contact me at your convenience for a complimentary consultation. I would be honored to be on the list of Realtors® you may choose to interview to assist you and your family find the perfect Florida home.

Best of luck and if I can offer anything additional please let me know.

Zip code 33446 is on the western edge of Delray Beach. I believe the eastern border of the area is Jog Road which is a very short drive of the awesome beaches of Delray. Atlantic Avenue is about the centerline of this zip code so head east, find a parking spot and enjoy one of the best beaches in southern Florida. If you are hungry after your fun in the sun head over to Tramonti for an incredible italian meal! Atlantic Ave is my favorite street in south Florida and one of the main reasons I do so much work there.

I hope this information is helpful but if you need anything additional please do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience and I will be happy to be of assistance.

Always at Your Service,

Can you please provide a little more information? Not sure because your location is what determines the distance to the beach. Wish I could help you out a little more but I would need some additional information.

Lucky you, Joann!
I am sure a FL agent will come along, and help you out with some advice. I think it might be helpful if you first shared some more information.

Your price range comfort level is is what activities you are interested in...........Do you play golf? Do you want to be on the water in a highrise.........or inland, overlooking a golf course in a patio home, single family home or townhome?
Do want a gated community?
Do you want a complex that offers a country club, or just a clubhouse with activites and restaurant?
One important question is also the ratio of snow birds to year round residents. Having a population of single people would also be an important aspect.

Have you totally decided on Delray? I have spent a lot of time in Plam Beach Gardens, and I really love that area - it's a bit further north, but offers many possibilities in a variety of price ranges. It's just a thought!

It's an exciting move - I wish you good luck, and I am sure you will find the perfect place! You will have plenty of options..........

Best wishes.
