If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

We are not allow to say whether its a safe area to live in or not as Realtors. Its against fair housing law.

Desoto is a wonderful place for your kids to grow up! I have to say that my children were not in the Desoto Public School system, but the city has lots to offer and most of their friends live in Desoto as well. From what I understand the schools used to be top notched but have fallen slightly in recent years.
